"Most of my work is about navigation in one way or another. The ocean is a symbol for the great beyond, the unknown, the void -so here I am swimming across an ocean, trying to navigate, using letters from home- or perhaps they were love letters. I've had a few.
A suitcase filled with them, like the one I used to have for my Barbie dolls.
This is my love letter to the world."
